I was able to get into the unit and see what type and size it was, but there was no instructions or mention of what to replace it.
The home alarm is back up and running thanks to this device, we don't have to run to turn off the alarm because the battery stays charged and works great.
I was not sure if the low cost battery would work for a UPS, but this one did and it arrived quickly from Amazon.
I bought it about five years ago and it lasted for five years. Call the company and ask if they remembered me and they said they would send me one for $25.00.
It was as good as any and didn't have to go to 10 places to buy it.

We had lost our manual and had to reset the low battery alarm. I do not know specifically how to disabled the battery backup but that is where i would look.
