  • What buyers say about Why Read Moby-Dick? ; Nathaniel Philbrick

I have read Melville for the first time in a long time, but Nathaniel Philbrick's book has made me better understand and enjoy the novel even more.

Mr. Melville made several short chapters, which allow the reader to focus on a small part of the journey of the PEQUOD.

I have been reading Nathaniel Philbrick for over twenty years and I have to say that he is the most authoritative on all things Nantucket.

I am very interested in early nineteenth century literature, and I enjoy reading Philbricks book, "Moby Dick." I am also a fan of Melville.

The person who wants to know why the book is a classic will be satisfied by Mr Philbrick's arguments.
