What buyers say about Tea Cooper: The Girl in the Painting | The Girl in the Painting
I know my review is random and personal, but I think it still reflects what a unique story The Girl in the Painting is because I just had a hurt brain that needed to heal just like the protagonists of this story have.
The setting in Australia was described so clearly that you could feel yourself in it. The characters were well developed and likable with two strong female protagonists.
The family moved back and forth between Ireland and the US over the course of the 1800s and early 1900s, with one of the people that the brother and sister mentor and assist being Jane Piper, a young orphan who was perhaps even more gifted than in mathematics.
This is my favorite Tea Cooper because of the fact that the storyline is exceptional, the events are beautifully written and the author touches on some emotional thought provoking issues.
This is a book that will leave you wanting more, because Ms. Cooper is so good at making the puzzle pieces fall into place.
