What buyers say about White Rose, Black Forest, Eoin Dempsey
The focus on German civilian life under Hitler was enlightening, but my only criticisms are the pervasiveness of the premise and the sometimes-flat dialogue.
The romance was too contrived, too forced, and too flat to engage with. I like the idea of a story giving more attention to the German resistance movement but it was so tiny, so crushed that it has to be treated properly or skew history.
The characters were very well defined and I can still see them even though I have moved on.
This is a book that will appeal to readers who like to read about the amazing strength of those who fought the Nazism in the Second World War.
The plot is well thought out and the characters are well developed, making them believable to anyone who has ever been in WWII.
