James Baldwin is a person who digsnifies everything around him, and even the places he enters, and even the places he doesn't. His moral stand during most of the second half of the XX century remains largely intact, and growing.
We do know a lot more about the genius, but not enough of his literary output, which is why overal it is a good work, only partially appealing to the many Baldwin fans.
