  • What buyers say about ROKR 3D Wooden Puzzles DIY Model Building Kits for Adults

I decided to make this for Christmas, because I had never made anything like this before, but I had a good time putting it together, and it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be.

It is a must for anyone that has worked with film, or is a big fan of classic equipment, as it has a real steam punk vibe.

One of the pieces that was supposed to be fully assembled can not be because it wasn't cut in time.

The steel axles are better than ever and I am almost done with this one. I think this is a great way for a novice to begin with these wooden puzzles and then move on to more complicated kits.

The most enjoyable thing I have ever received in the mail is a wooden puzzle that has a projection camera attached to it.

    Common Questions

    Q:

What level of difficulty would this be for a person who is good with puzzles?

    A:

I found this puzzle to be fun and easy to follow, but it was frustrating. I have put together a few of these puzzles and they are not hard if you follow the directions.

    Q:

We assembled this, but the film won't advance on the wheels. Any advice?

    A:

I recommended that my grandson use sanding and waxing to smooth out the moving parts, because he couldn't get the gears to turn.

    Q:

Where do you purchase more films?

    A:

I believe ROKR was looking into making more films available.

    Q:

Are replacement bulbs available or are they standard that we can buy at a store?

    A:

It seems that you are an expert in mechanical models, as evidenced by the fact that the films are made in mass so there is no blank available.

    Q:

Which films does it play? Does it come with a film to reproduce?

    A:

It comes with its own film, but it doesn't come with blank or extra footage.
