The unit works perfectly every time I use it, and I have upgraded to 4.2.7 since I fixed my loose connection to the mainboard.
The product has a plastic probe tip with a molded in magnet that is always at the perfect height, and the clone metal pin was attached to the internal magnet with a piece of heat shrink that kept slipping.
This is the best printer I have ever used, and it is so easy to use. No longer do I have to fiddle around with pieces of paper under my extruder trying to perfectly balance the 4 corners of my print bed.
It used to be that you had to leveling your bed to print, but now you only have to spend an extra 30-60 seconds on each print job.
The results are easy to find, but due to the difficulty in setup, I only give it 3 starts.
Is the cable long enough for the Ender 3 Pro?
If you want to run the BLTouch cable inside the existing Ender 3 Pro hot end black expando, you'll need to join the 1m cable to the short piece.
Is this V 3.1?
Yes. It's still very easy to install and the v3 is better.
Do you need to program it on the printer or just plug and play?
I tried to get this on my TEVO Tornado, but it wasn't working for me. Also at that time, I had just bought the gold Tevo and the BLT FW had yet to catch up.
Why would I want this for my ender pro 3?
It takes modifying your firmware to install it.
The new antc labs bl touch has a plastic button that doesn't work when it contacts the glass bed. Can someone tell me how to fix it?
You have to rewire the pins to work correctly for your application. Each board for each model printer is different. They cannot set them up to work for everyone so they set them up to work for most.
