What buyers say about Micro Swiss All Metal Hotend Kit for Creality CR-10 / CR10 / CR10S
This is not a fault, it is the way that part is designed to run and operate, so I am very fortunate that I don't have to run nylon in my normal work.
I have to say that the unit I received was very good for the young man I had toolshop training and it was very fast to receive my order.
I bought a new high temp tube and a MicroSwiss because my old one melted and caused my hot end to leak.
If you want to process NYLON or Hi Temp materials, then this part alone cannot help you, it was a bad disappointment to find, even though it adds to the contrary.
MicroSwiss makes a fine part, it installed easy, and runs fine, but for my uses, I recommend buying a Prusa or a different make, because some people try altering the PID or tampering with the computer code and have ended up damaging their machines.
Common Questions
What is the recommended setting for swapping nozzles on this hotend, and should it be heated when doing so?
The Torque setting should be snug but should be done while cool. Get everything mostly tight without the nozzle bottoming out, then run it up to 250c, let it soak for a while.
Does the hot end work on the sunlu s8?
It doesn't look too difficult to adapt it to a Sunlu S8 and it is far from a drop in replacement.
Does it fit with ender 5 plus?
I use this on my CR-10 for the most part and I think it will work the same for an Ender 5/5 Plus/5 Pro since it's compatible.
Are other components required to replace the stock CR-10s nozzle?
I heated mine up to take it out and it still broke, so be careful if you ever take just the nozzle off.
Is a higher wattage power supply upgrade required to print materials with higher temperatures?
The all metal hot end doesn't need to have power supply changes.
