I came up with that idea after thinking, and testing, and I would like to see if the macro fitting would work.
I bought these as a replacement and they were a perfect fit, since I snapped one of them in my dual gear extruder while doing modifications to my Ender 5.
If you need to trim or replace your tube, you will need to replace the fitting because of its death-grip.
The bowden tube on my printer was lost grip on the plastic teeth of the stock couplers, but I haven't seen any issues with burrs inside blocking or interfering with the filament.
It was in time for props, my 3D printer was in back up and running, just in time.
