  • What buyers say about BIGTREETECH TFT35 E3 V3.0 Touch Screen Display RepRap Smart Controller Panel

I was able to fix it by disabling the function in Configuration_adv.h. After I grounded the mainboard and everything else better, I haven't noticed any more glitchiness.

There is some confusion about where to plug in your BLtouch, if applicable, but the answers are easily found in community resources.

The touch screen makes some tasks very simple and understandable, and it also has a nice interface that makes it very easy to use.

If you still want to use the 1.2 board, I would recommend an extra heatsink on the mosfet chip, and make sure the fan is clear of dirt, since the newer version of the board seems to address the overheating issue with the mosfet.

The thing is much more responsive than the stock DWIN screen and there are a lot of different options in the config file that don't need a recompilation.

    Common Questions

    Q:

Will this display work with SKR v1.3?

    A:

Yes. The touch screen can be used to read and write to the skr 1.3 with g codes, as well as to use it to simulation mode to look at a reprap 12864 screen with the dial.

    Q:

How should I set up the serial ports in marlin to work on skr1.3?

    A:

If you have the tft cable plugged in, you should only have to push in the knob when you power up the board, and your touch screen should light up.

    Q:

Will it work with the Creality v4.2.7 32-bit board?

    A:

I don't have experience with your printer, but if your controller can provide 5v and has a serial connection, it will work.

    Q:

Where can we find extension cables, 1m length?

    A:

I ordered the ribbon cables on Amazon, but I couldn't find the other cable there.

    Q:

Will this work with an ender 3 pro?

    A:

The limitations are shown in the Gethub page of the TFT35 product.
