What buyers say about BIGTREETECH Upgraded SKR Mini E3 V3.0 Silent Board 32bit Mainboard
If power loss recovery is enabled, auto/mesh bed levelling wouldn't be possible, which forced me to upgrade my printer from 8 bit to 8 bit, I'm very happy with it.
It was easy to add a BL Touch and use the old ZStop switch as a runout sensor, and it was also possible to upgrade the software on the board using an SD card.
A good customer service replacement was sent out by Big Treetech and delivered within 7 days after the sd card slot no longer worked.
You can flash the new firmware on this board if you save the file to the microsd card and stick it in.
The upgrade for my ender 3 pro is much quieter with the new board and drivers, and it was also nice to be able to update the printers software.
Common Questions
Is the offical branded biqu board the same as the latest version of marlin?
It's official, it comes with a duck, and it's pre-flashed with the newest fork of marlin2.0.x-bug fix.
Is this an upgrade for the ender 6?
Not really needed, the Ender 6 already has a silent TMX-2208 chip set and maybe install a Bltouch on the original board.
Do I need to boost the amperage if I get a dual Z axis?
I would check to see how hot they are running, and if there are any skipped steps, you should be able to adjust in the TMC_SMART section.
I don't know if the skr e3 mini v3 is the same as the past skr versions.
It is a V3.0 if it says so in the description, and it is a V2.0 if it says so in the picture.
Will this work on my prusia i3 clone?
I bought these because they were cheap, but they are easy to blow and become worthless.
