What buyers say about FOKOOS 3D Printer Odin-5 F3 Foldable FDM Printers
I love the touch screen display and the preview of the code on the screen, sometimes I have a file with close to the same name and this is nice.
I have been printing with FOKOOS for a few months now and I have to say that it is a very good printer, it is very easy to use and easy to set up and run at any time of the day or night.
The removal of the fan and hotend shroud revealed that the screw that holds the throat in place was loose and I would suggest you tighten it from the factory after opening your new machine.
I haven't tried plugging in a printer-style usb cable into my PC because it isn't close enough to my PC.
I am very happy with the purchase, but I have not had any issues with the printer as of yet.
Common Questions
Whose printed works are better, the Ender series or the printed works?
It's always been a nightmare for me when it comes to installing a printer, but for this one, you only need to install the 4 screws at the bottom to fix the gantry, insert the flat cable, and install the material rack as usual.
Does this printer come with filament?
Video can't be loaded.
Does this come with everything I need to start printing right away or do I need to purchase additional materials to get started?
You will need some time to get used to it, but it works out of the box.
I want to buy this printer for my 16 year old son, but I'm not sure if it will be easy for him to use.
The easiest and fastest to get going will be this one. I was printing inside of 30-1 hour and probably could have been going faster if I was not triple checking things.
Is there a group that helps with the open source of this printer?
I believe there are several people in the group that can help with firmware questions for the printer, so join the group.
