What buyers say about WINSINN Dual Gear Extruder
If you want to avoid threading the bolts, use the proper pressure when installing and spin the gear a few times to get grease worked into all the spaces.
The entry hole seems to work fine, the metal doesn't get damaged by the original, but it seems too tight with those.
The one on the CR10 that I purchased is still new and has never been used, so I will stop using it once I get my new ones.
I am very impressed with the dual PTFE connector one, it has some better gears than the single one.
Once you change it in your code in your slicer g-code you don't have to do it again until you change your drive system.
Common Questions
There isn't a set screw to attach the gear to the drive shaft, and the gear won't move as it isn't attached to the motor shaft. How do I attach it?
It's likely that the ender 3 pro was upgraded to an engine model with a press fit type gear, or third party resellers were doing it, and mine ender 3 pro came from a reseller and was obviously either used or had parts swapped.
Are you shipping the black bolt as shown in the picture, or are you still shipping with the wrong bolt?
They seem to be shipping the correct bolt as of July, I just got mine and it has a smooth black bolt that only has threads at the very bottom for it to screw into the base plate.
Is the dual gear extruder compatible with the mp select mini v2?
You need to change the steps permm for the extruder in order to be compatible out of the box.
Is there a way to protect the arm from the gear?
Yes, but it's not even moving. The point of contact is against the feeded filament.
Does this fit the cr10 mini and cr10s v2?
I'm able to fit the mini.
