  • Common Questions

    Q:

What is the thickness of this material with glue?

    A:

That's 0.67mm of building plate and glue.

    Q:

I tried alcohol and goo gone but nothing seems to get it off.

    A:

What was the material you applied to the bed before starting your 3D print?

    Q:

What is the surface of the print?

    A:

The 3D Printer build surface plate is made of high strength and heat resistance synthetic materials, it is similar to PEI sheet, but the price is much less.

    Q:

It seems like the surface is good for printing, but items can get stuck. Does anyone use hairspray as a glue for the project?

    A:

I wipe it with alcohol before every print to make sure it doesn't fail. So far only 2 fails due to poor adhesion.

    Q:

I don't know if it's best to apply it to the glass or straight to the heat plate.

    A:

This is made to be installed on a heated bed and you need to print ON the glass if you have glass.
