  • What buyers say about ANYCUBIC Photon Mono X 3D Printer

The print quality is top notch, and generally when there is a problem, at least for the first while, its user error.

The build plate might need sanding in the future, but it hasn't been necessary yet.

I did not want to smash the screen and wait for a replacement, so I was careful when I pulled on the piece of paper until it was drag resistance, which is what the instructions say.

I have been using a 3D printer for a few months now and I have to say it has been pretty good for what I have been doing with it and its speed and accuracy has been pretty good as well.

I came out perfect, the picture I included above is my 3rd print and it looks amazing, it doesn't have any visible layer lines and incredible detail that you could not have gotten from a FDM machine.

    Common Questions

Would this unit be able to make minatures for rpgs like dungeon and dragons?

Yes. This is exactly what I am using the printer for, small board game minis and components. You will need to experiment and tinker a little bit to get everything working like it should.

What is the difference between the orange and blue glass?

The debate is blue does not protect the print and resin from UV light, so you can cover the unit with a bath towel while in use or not in use.

Do you need a UV lamp to cure the finished product after printing?

If you don't have a larger source of UV light, the printed part will remain soft and fragile until it cures.

We will use this for printing tabletop miniatures, how far does the resin go?

I got mine for D&D and wargaming and have printed over a dozen figures, but still have just about half the starting resin.

Is there a resin included with the 3d printer?

You have to purchase your own 3d printer because there is no resin included.
