    I saw some videos on uploading new firmware to fix various problems, but don't know if that fixes it, and don't want to try cause the SD adapter saved me and does work, so I'm not messing with the firmware.

    If the motor has a loose or broken gear, tighten the top screw. If the plug is stuck, you need to clean it.
