I have been using Prusaslicer for the past two years and it has been a great slicer for my FDM printing needs, I have not needed customer service yet, but I hear it is very good.
The Neptune 2 is the best bang for your buck, it was sent to me as a surprise, but I think it's worth it for $180.
The new model is a clone of the old one, at a cheaper price point, but it has many small changes that help update the 3-year-old design, such a really good print bed, and my personal favorite, the Bowden Tube modification that allows for TPU printing to some extent.
The printer is a great one for first-timers, and Elegoo has great customer service, I have confidence that they will get it back up and running.
It comes with a set of free tools to assemble everything, and you're paying for it, but you know what I mean.
