About ELEGOO Mars Pro MSLA 3D Printer UV Photocuring LCD 3D Printer

ELEGOO Mars has received a lot of compliments as well as critical reviews. What can we improve to make it more perfect and easy to use? Mars PRO 3D printer comes with a silicone rubber seal that can be put on the bottom of the cover to prevent the resin odor from leaking, plus the USB port is relocated to the front for your convenience. It only needs 45s to cure the first layer and 6s for the others. The print speed is 22.5mm/h and the UV LED light source has uniform set screws of the building plate that was changed to anti-slip hexagon socket screws to provide a more stable and long-lasting leveling result. Mars Pro adopts an upgraded 0.15mm CD pattern surface which contributes to a higher success rate. With higher adhesiveness, CD patterns help make the prints stick more tightly to the plate. Build-In Active Carbon Filter Built-in activated carbon can absorb and filter the irritant resin odor before they are ventilated throughout the cooling fan.

  • What buyers say about ELEGOO Mars Pro MSLA 3D Printer UV Photocuring LCD 3D Printer

The prints look like store bought and I love them. I will be purchasing a third machine now because I love the prints.

I have had the printer for almost two months now, and it has been fantastic. I had some initial setup questions and issues with the build plate, but they were incredibly helpful.

I put the part in about 35 minutes and checked the light source, and after a few more tests it seems to have fixed the issue, even a tank clean comes out flat where as before it would have noticeable lines in the under-exposed areas.

It was easy to unpack it, get the bed leveled, and then set it up to print a model Id prepared in Chitubox, which is more than I can say for my first (and more expensive) inkjet printer.

When I accidentally spilled some uncured resin onto the platform, I had a technical problem with my own making, and I asked everyone to be patient and take the time to remove the tank if you are trying to clear out left over bits.

    Common Questions

    Q:

Had it been more difficult to include another fep, I would have damaged this one already.

    A:

They will give you two replacement FEP sheets when you ask for them, in the Official Elegoo Mars & Pro Facebook group.

    Q:

Is the resin toxic when burnt off?

    A:

This would be great for producing the original model, but the resin would be toxic when burned.

    Q:

I don't know if there is a resin included with the printer.

    A:

That's correct, the Resin isn't included.

    Q:

Will this come back into stock soon?

    A:

It is restocked often, just in limited quantity, and it sells out fast. I really wish Amazon would offer a backORDER option for pre-ordering items that are currently out of stock.

    Q:

Is it safe to use it indoors?

    A:

It's not bad if you have a fairly ventilated area, but if you crack a window in winter it will really mess up your print jobs. just be careful about cracking a window in winter because the resin takes longer to cure at lower temperatures and that will really mess up your print jobs
