    If you're looking for someone to ask questions about 3d printing, then Tang and his team are the ones to call. Tang and his team are very knowledgeable about how to use the printer and are happy to answer any questions you may have.


    We are using the following methods to produce a design: 1) Use a design in AutoCAD, 2) When design ready to print Save Copy As, 3) Start ReplicatorG software, 4) Open a STL file in ReplicatorG, 5) Center, position on platform.


    I have made some great prints and have only tested one type of material so far, that is ABS. If you need help with this material, please go to the community.


    The Pros: - It's already assembled so it's guaranteed to work, and there are only a few things that need to be clicked in or screwed in before it's ready to use. - It's compact, and there's no exposed wires on the outside.


    The printer is sturdy, well thought out and easy to replace if need be, but it is not perfect, but it is great where it counts.

    Can anyone tell me what to look for in a 3D scanner?

    A:

    It works well, if you have a systems requirement appropriate PC and don't rotate the scanner clockwise/counterwise while scanning, will lose lock on the object.

    I want to print chocolate moulds in food grade material, but I'm not sure if it's possible to get them in 2X3" or 4X7".

    A:

    If you want to make chocolate that shows all the layers of plastic, you need to print in 2 parts and glue together.

    Is this printer compatible with a glass bed like the bibo 3d printer's removable glass bed?

    You can find a glass bed on Amazon.com, even though FlashForge doesn't sell it.

    What is the print speed?

    These plates take 90 to 120 min to print.

    Is this the creator x or the creator pro?

    A:

    I did some checking and it seems like the X model is the same as the pro model, but with the added top.
