What buyers say about Monoprice 121666 Mini Delta 3D Printer
This printer is a great value for the price and is great for people who want a good 3D printing experience but don't want to spend a lot of money.
The prints produced are good, with only a few failures so far.
The figure took a long time to build, but it was smooth and the different layers were visible from a few feet away.
You might want to use some thin oil on the metal to plastic joints to help slow wear and tear, and make the prints more quality than the other types of 3D printers in general.
I didn't expect much from it, because it's a brilliant 3D printer, if you receive it well-calibrated from the factory and you can tinker around the settings in Cura, which is the recommended 3D printing software for this unit.
Common Questions
Is this printer the same as the bibo 3d printer?
The printer is open from all 3 sides, but it does not have an enclosure and the new type bowden connectors they used dropped their rating from a 5 to a 3 for me.
How do you turn off the device?
I attached it to a remote switch so when my software sends a notification to my phone, I can turn the printer off remotely.
I'm looking for a beginner printer, would anyone recommend one?
It's not a bad place to start, but there's gotchas.
Is it possible to use ausb?
If that is your question, you can use the glide print file on a thumb drive to plug it into the printer.
Is the printer ready to print, after I unboxed it?
It comes ready to print but without filament. After you unbox it, hang the filament holder in it's slots and load the filament. Plug in the SD card that comes with the printer; it contains a test.
