  • What buyers say about R QIDI TECHNOLOGY 3D Printer

The Qidi Tech X-plus is a great printer for the price, because it's just the nature of the beast to get this kind of technology at the consumer level.

I keep it dry in Florida, where it is humid. My grade for the purchase is A, with tools A, and print B.

If you connect a picam or other webcam to your pi, you can see your printer remotely through a browser window or a phone app, and if there are problems, you can stop the print.

I have a lot more to say but I am afraid that no one will read it. I will not find a better printer then QIDI tech for the price and what it has with 2 different hot ends/inclosure/ bed level assistant and a WiFi file.

Over the last year, I have printed large art pieces that took weeks to print, lots of small quick "fixit" pieces, and lots of other self-designed parts.

    Common Questions

    Q:

I don't know how this printer compares to the prusa i3 mk3 at the same price point. I will have to wait a few weeks for the prusa.

    A:

The guy next to me at work got the same Prusa kit, but he feels like the QIDI X-Plus may out perform him.

    Q:

Is this a dual-enfrance printer like the bibo 3d printer?

    A:

No, it is a single extruder. The additional extruder they include or send at customer request is an upgraded single extruder module.

    Q:

Is there a difference between x-plus and max the bed size? Carbon printing is not included in the max.

    A:

The X-Max and X-Plus have different build volumes and screen sizes, but they both can print the same materials.

    Q:

Is the banner removable? It's a bit of an eyesore.

    A:

I was going to ask the same question, but it's an eye sore, and may be a deal breaker for me as I like all my equipment to look uniform.

    Q:

I don't know if the kit already includes Extruder B, or if I need to request it.

    A:

The kit comes with both the low temp and the high temp extruders, so I wanted to try it out.
