Common Questions
Is it possible to stop it if the filament runs out like a bibo 3d printer?
It can, however, you have to detect the correct time when the filament will be close to running out in order to replace it mid-print.
Does the printer have filters for fumes?
The foam filter over the cabinet fans does little more than filter the air in the build chamber, which is really unnecessary.
If the filament runs out, does it stop?
Is it possible to add this function when I'm busy with other work?
Is it possible for a user to add a Filament Detector to the Xmax?
I built my own filament detector because the machine has automemory and can be shut down if there is a power outage.
How long does it take to swap extruders to change from normal to high temp materials?
It takes me 5 minutes to swap extruders, compared to 20 minutes for the first time.
