  • What buyers say about SainSmart x Creality Ender-3 3D Printer, Resume Printing Prusa i3, for Home and School Use

The second needed a bit more work and took an hour to align the X axis correctly.

The box was undamaged, the parts were included in the box, and SainSmart did an excellent job all around.

The printer is a great deal and I got mine on a lighting deal which made it even better.

I have been printing for many years, and I am very impressed with the quality of the printer that I own, which was $300-5000, and my first one, an old Printrbot 1401, which I purchased on year 5.

I agree with his assessment after over a month of ownership, if you take your time during assembly, follow Tomb of 3D printed Horrors guide on YouTube, and do adequate research ahead of time you should have a good out of box experience with the Ender 3.

    Common Questions

    Q:

Is it necessary to use any specific software or can you use any models you find on the internet?

    A:

The version of Cura that comes on the SD card is a bit dated. However, you can download UtliMaker Cura free and tinker with a few settings.

    Q:

I have to consider a second shiping after recieving it from you, what's the packaging size for this printer?

    A:

    The package is 20.1"(L) x 15.7"(W) x 7.5"(H). The gross weight is 17.8 lbs.

    Q:

The CR-10 is loud and uses cheap fans.

    A:

I live in a one-room apartment and, naturally, I have it run in the same room as me. You will definitely hear the whirring and movement of the nozzle, but it is fairly quiet.

    Q:

Has anyone had a problem with a hot spot in the center of printbed?

    A:

I keep my heat on the low end because I don't get too much trouble with bed adhesion.

    Q:

Will it work with the chrome book?

    A:

So any computer or tablet that is capable of producing a Gcode file and writing to an SD card will work.
