What buyers say about WEEDO X40 IDEX 3D Printer
Also need to raise the heat a little higher than the filament asks for. I did a long print with PETG and it did great, but I was a little afraid to do it for a long period of time.
I waited 3 weeks to finish reviewing the printer so I could get some use out of it. I have used it for multiple hours, and there have been no issues so far.
The slicer is still useful, but it is a bit outdated, and you can always use another slicer.
The bed is very comfortable and heats up nicely, although I would imagine the whole fan shroud would need to be changed since it seems like a custom design.
Since you can't order parts off of Weedos website it's hard to find replacement parts, the Z, E0 and E1 are A4988 and this is not the case as it the Z, E0 and E1 are silent drivers.
What is the diameter of the default nozzles?
To improve the printing speed, 0.6mm or 0.8mm nozzles can be changed on the weedo x40
Can they be upgraded to all metal or are they all metal already?
