What buyers say about ELEGOO Water Washable 3D Printer Resin LCD UV-Curing Resin
Section 12: Ecological information, literally all information in this section is marked as "no info available" but then you get to section 12.7 and find it stating it's poisonous for aquatic organisms.
I spent a fortune on the oil-based versions of the printer, but I am sorry I didn't use it more often.
The Elegoo one was a lot more pleasant than the Phrozen, but my health has to come first, so I dropped this from 5.
The regular Elegoo resin was previously marked up by 34%, but the price has gone up by 75% over the last week.
The color is less blue than abs-like but it is hard to print bottom patterns on things like engraving because the light passes right through and exposes layers beyond the layers it should.
Common Questions
Does this different type of resin have a better smell?
The smell of Eleogoo is the same as regular resin. Still need IPA at the end to fully clean the vat.
How many models can you do with a 1000 gram bottle?
It depends on the size and mass of the model, and I think I could do this close to 10 times from a 1000 gram bottle.
Does this product have an expiration date?
It can last for 5 years if you don't open the bottle, but make sure to shake it very well if you want it to last for a long time.
What type of paint do you use to paint your 3d models?
I use citadel acrylic, citadel contrast and Vallejo paints. Any game color acrylics will work, but I recommend primering the figure first.
Is the print watersoluble after being cured?
It's plastic after curing only UV hurts it.
