    I found out that the duracell 1616 was put in there in 2005 and it was starting to get weak after 16 years.


    The old battery was close to 3 volts when I put it into the FOB, but when I took it apart, I found the battery number 1616 and ordered it for both of my fobs.


    I had to replace my battery because it was old and I had to hit the lock button 3 times before it registered.


    It did the job when I needed to change my car key battery.


    They are the best, that's what I can say.
