I bought a Duracell "Lantern" battery in the late 1990s after I found it in the drawer where we keep our hurricane supplies, it had a 2003 expiration date, and it was in there with 4 D-cells inside.
I have tried many other brands over the years, but I always return to Duracell for its lantern battery, which I keep in my flashlight in the event of a power shortage.
Duracell batteries are the reason I keep 6V lanterns in every room of my house, they have been reliable for 30 years or more and I have never had an issue with them.
He thinks they last longer and are more reliable. We put it into our camp site lantern for our recent RV trip and it ran like a champ.
I have been using this battery for my flashlight for a while now and it is still going strong, I highly recommend it. I am using this battery for my big flashlight and I bought it a while ago and its still going strong.
