My sister told me that I should check Amazon for batteries, because she said that it was an excellent deal and that she needed batteries for her three little boys.
I use them for remotes, small items, and my little 50s clock lasts really long, I noticed they stopped working too quick, and I cleaned the connectors on the remote and battery.
I'm not sure if other batteries will last longer than these, but for the price, quantity, and quality, it's actually a great deal.

I can't say anything about Amazon or their efforts, but I can say that I have always gotten the genuine item as ordered when I have ordered name brand batteries of different sizes and voltages.
