  • What buyers say about Preamer 7pcs 5 Gram Diamond Lapping Paste Polishing Compound

The 2.5 grit was the only one with bright colors and it did stain the pieces of opal that were thin, but that is the only complaint I have.

These are some of the best rock carvings I have ever worked on and they are all perfect in their own way.

It made my opals worth the money, because it brought out colors I didn't know they had.

The compound is a good fluid mix and the syringe seems to work well, I may add more to the review later.

The packaging was easy to use.

    Common Questions

    Q:

What are the sizes of the micron?

    A:

    I believe it's 10, 7, 5, 3, 2.5, 1, and 0.5.

    Q:

Is it possible to use it on rocks and stones?

    A:

Don't look for the kind of polish a rock tumbler would give, it's oil based, and that could leave a stain on your rock surface.

    Q:

Is it possible to use this on table top epoxy?

    A:

I wouldn't recommend it because the diamond will embedded itself into the epoxy.

    Q:

Is it possible that this paste will stain marble?

    A:

I have not used it on marble, but it did not stain the quartz I used it on.

    Q:

Is it possible to use this to remove scratches from the phone screen?

    A:

You should do some research to find out what grade would be best to remove from glass. This set has various grits ranging from 1,000 to 10,000, make sure you use the right grit or you will end up with many more.
