  • What buyers say about Glass Polish 14053 GP-PRO Professional Grade Glass Polishing Compound

I don't think this will work on weaker prescriptions as it messes the prescription up, and also don't use it on plastic lens as the friction alone will melt them.

I have a prescription that is strong enough to keep me glasses for life, but a new pair of glasses costs $400, so I took a chance on cleaning an old pair that was unwearable and it worked, they are crystal clear now.

    Common Questions

    Q:

Will this be able to remove the scratches on my windshield?

    A:

We can be used to polish off wiper blade damage, however, it needs to be used with a felt pad and a rotary electric polisher or an electric drill at 1500-2000rpm.

    Q:

Is it possible to use this as a finish glass polish or as a finishing polish after this stage?

    A:

It can be used as a final polish without the need for the fine compounds.

    Q:

Is it possible to use this with a drill and polishing pad to work on my glasses lens?

    A:

If your glasses are actually glass, that question is not an easy one to answer since it would edpend on how badly they are damaged and what you would consider an acceptable improvement.

    Q:

Is it possible to use this for Plexiglass/acrylic?

    A:

The above compound is only for glass. Please check our compounds for acrylic surfaces.

    Q:

Is it possible that this will remove scratches on smartphone glass?

    A:

Do not use this product on any glass, unless you want to ruin your glass, then Amazon should stop selling it.
