What buyers say about Heart of a Dog by Mikhail Bulgakov
The novella is a must read and you don't want to miss it.
The book was written a couple of decades before George Orwell's "Animal Farm." It is an interesting and notable example of how talking animals can be used as an allegory and metaphor for the Bolshevik Revolution and Soviet Union.
It's not on par with The Master and Margarita but it's a great novel that's relevant at different levels.
The book was cheap and in great condition.
I have read Bulgakovs books three times and I have not had a bad one yet.
