These little clips are a little lighter and smaller than the 12kN ones we have for our hammocks, and have a nice large opening, which is double the cordage of the biner, and single 1/4" through the lower holding area of the biner.
We don't want to use the heavy steel or more expensive climbing carabiners, but we also don't want to carry a lot of gear, so we want to suspend more things from rope/cordage.
The finish of the carabiners is smooth and the colors are vibrant, which is a big step up from the cheap round material carabiners.
I needed a small carabiner clip for my keys and these fill the bill.
The small biners are the best I have ever used.
