I use one of these hanging carabiners to hang my bag in the cab of the tower crane and then hang it on the ladder at the end of the day, because I don't have to set my backpack on the ground.

I have never doubted the clip's ability to hold my backpack up, even though it can hold a full hydro flask, camera, lens, batteries, jackets, and all sorts of other things.
It was on my wish list and I got it fora couple years back. I am able to hang it everywhere from my desk to airport bathroom, because it is attached to my backpack handle.
The problem is that the hook doesn't fit over the carabiner part, so I returned it, even though I didn't work for them.
