I was almost instantly reassured after taking Up4 again, despite the fact that the packaging had changed.
I don't know if the placebo effect makes a difference beyond a small amount of "alien"bacteria, but I do know that I tend to favor probiotics when my diet or health habits are poor or exposed to a large amount of "alien"bacteria.
It works great for gas and bloats, and I have tried and found the high potency version to be effective for me.
I have a pretty hardy constitution for food, so it did seem to prevent bloat and general bulginess, but I didn't notice any negative effects.
UP4's big selling point is its trademarked superstrain DDS-1 and it seems that it is now demoted because of the changes to the actual probiotic formula that upsets me.

The only thing required is refrigeration as UP4 has more than 10 different strains.

I do not believe this product is third party tested. The cultures are created to resist breaking down before absorption, so they are active.
Is it possible to know the expiration date?
I stopped using it because it was too expensive, but I am very sure they always sent out very fresh products, that has been my experience when purchasing products from Amazon sellers.
What is the shelf life of the product?
I bought mine a month ago and they exp in October 2019.
