What buyers say about Ashthorpe Full-Size Cutaway Thinline Acoustic-Electric Guitar Package
It comes with a case, cable, picks, strap, strings, and sounds great, but only lasts for the first day.
I loosened up the strings and removed the saddle in order to sand the bottom of the nut file, which was set at 3.25mm (4/32) for the Low E and the high E.
I think it's very difficult to find a better guitar for the money, and the accessories are all better than I expected.
The guitar was in perfect pitch when matched against a Snark Supertight tuner and the plastic nut was perfect.
The finish on the back of the neck was not much of a notice, but I rubbed it out with 1200 wet/dry paper and polished it back up with some compound.
Common Questions
Is this guitar not available for shipment to Miami Florida?
I have received a guitar through Amazon before, and it has no issues down in the Homestead area.
Is it made of nylon?
It's possible to try it and see how it sounds, but my opinion is that the spacing between nylon strings and steel strings will not be the same, which will make it more difficult to fret the chords and make changes cleanly.
My 10 year old grandson is wondering if this is a youth sixe guitsr.
I learned to play a full size guitar when I was 10 years old.
Does it have a headphone jack?
If you turn it all the way up, you'd barely be able to hear it, since the output is meant to go into a sound system or amplifier, but you can.
I bought my grandson a amplifier when he was young, but I want to make sure I get the right one.
I bought one from a pawn shop for $22 and it works great.
