The headstock has plenty of space around it to float, the body is held in place perfectly, the lid has enough space to close without the bigsby compromising that, and the neck has great support.
The packaging is not very impressive but the fit is good and the seller did a great job of getting it shipped in a timely manner.
I thought it fit my guitar perfectly with no wiggle room in any direction, I'm giving it 3 stars, it seems like it's not super durable, but it does flex when I press down on it.
The guitar fits well in there, there is a small cut out in the foam for the strap button, the neck is well supported, the furry lining seems to stay soft, and the two halves fit together very well.
The Gator GTSA-GTRELEC case is a great value for the quality of storage and the fact that it provides durable protection for my guitar in a travel environment.

My sons have gate checked these cases several times and have had nice attendants allow it to be buckled into an empty seat beside us. Otherwise, be polite but firm and tell people it's an instrument so you'll gate check it.
