The case is soft shell, so it doesn't have the built-in styrofoam shell of the transit series, but the ads show it being tossed and kicked around, so it's easy to see why the case provides the protection that the Gators need.
The case that you can open is something I like about them, as opposed to the way gig bags only open enough to slide the guitar in, which is something I don't like.
It is large, but not huge as in wide, but large enough to fit two guitars, and thick enough to be expected with two guitars.
There is a large cargo pocket with an integrated iPad compartment, as well as sewn-in cable loops and various interior pouch for a few pedals or other items, plus a large binder with a capacity for a few sheet music items in the main compartment.
The white interior of the Gator bag is not a problem, but I am concerned that it will show dirt and stains quickly, since the fabric is soft and plush.

There are two Textured and Ruberized pads on the bottom of the case that are meant to lift it slightly from the ground in the event you accidentally set the case in a small puddle or the ground is wet.
