  • What buyers say about Orangewood 6 String Acoustic Guitar, Right, Mahogany

It feels solid and well-built, just like a $1000.00 guitar, and not bad for a guitar that costs less than $200.

I told my wife it sounded like a cigar box guitar, but I used my Martins tone and it wasn't really fair to expect this guitar to have the same sound quality as a full size Martin or Taylor.

I bought a guitar that cost about $100 and came with a nylon soft case, which is what I wanted to say, since I have played for 60 years and it isn't high end in materials or design.

I have owned over 100 guitars over the course of 40 years, and have always preferred the warm sweet sounds of the Mahogany top guitars.

I have been playing guitar for 50 years and this is a great playing and sounding little guitar, it is light and easy to use, but it is not a Martin, or a gibson, or a eirano.

    Common Questions

    Q:

What type of nylon string would you recommend for this guitar?

    A:

I used EXP coated D'Addario.012-.053 light gauge to change mine, it was easier on your fingers.

    Q:

Is the guitar 1/2 or 1/3?

    A:

The Dana model has a total length of 36 1/4 inches, a body length of 17 1/8, and a body depth of 3 3/4.

    Q:

Is the bag strong or flimsy?

    A:

The gig bag is very thick and will protect your guitar. If it was a $500, I would buy a hard case for it.

    Q:

Is this "mini travel guitar" as big as the Taylor or klos guitars?

    A:

The actual guitar weight is approximately 2-3 lbs., which is the shipping weight of the box, gig bag, and guitar.

    Q:

Is the tone on this guitar good as you move down the neck?

    A:

The guitar is amazing, it has beautiful construction and no buzzy frets.
