The guitar was packaged the same as mine and it had no flaws of any kind.
I think the package is really great, it has all the basics one could ask for in starting to play, I don't think it's a good deal, but I'm not an audiophile type, so review is just from my opinion.
The case is junk, but it's important to have if you want easy access to the guitar.
The son's guitar arrived a little late but was great, I'm a novice myself, but after spending a lot of time tuning it wasn't as easy as it could have been.
