I really like the sound and feel of these strings on my guitar and it woke me up, they have the exact bright country tone I was looking for.
The sound of these guitars is so much better than the old ones, and at the price of just $5 a set, you just can't go wrong, do yourself a favour and forget the coated nonsense of XS.
The strings are easier to depress now, and the sound is better, because I replaced the pressed down strings with Extra-light ones.
I have been trying to find acoustic strings for my Hummingbird for a year and they have gone down in quality, but these are the best I have had in a couple of years.
