  • What buyers say about DAddario NB1253 Nickel Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings, Light

They are easy to tune, and hold the tuning well, which is why they are often compared to a soft strum or finger picking.

I will definitely put them on my resonator because I love the way the nickel bronze sounds, but I probably won't use them on my Breedlove any more.

I was pleased to try the DAddario nickel bronze strings, they are clearly good quality, but they do come with a vacuum pack, which was a surprise to me.

I think they are all hype and that they are better strings for less money than the ones you get from a bunch of names.

The acoustic tone is 80% hands and you have to articulate melody or drive the rhythm to create texture.

    Common Questions

    Q:

Is there a ball at the end of the string?

    A:

Yes, they're made for steel string acoustic guitars.

    Q:

What light is it and what medium is it?

    A:

The width of the strings is light and medium, while bass strings are harder to hold down.

    Q:

Is the 3rd string wound related to the 2nd string wound?

    A:

Yes, these are my favorite strings.

    Q:

Do you think these d'addario nickel bronze strings are better than d'addario phosphor bronze?

    A:

The Elixir "Polyweb" strings are coated with a coating which protects the windings of your strings.

    Q:

    What is the quality like?

    A:

The strings are great and the sound is great on a large body acoustic. I do get the set with the larger 53 6th string as it adds a bit more depth to the low end.
