What buyers say about Ernie Ball Earthwood Silk and Steel Soft Acoustic Set
I don't believe they will make your 12 string play like a 6 string, but I did notice a different feel to the Martins I've used in the past...
The sound is very nice to say the least and so far they have stayed right on the money as far as tuning goes, as my Ovation is an acoustic/electric, I would also take a moment and say that these do sound.
I have been using the Earthwood strings from the Ernie Ball brand for a while, but this is the first time I have tried the 12 string version.
I was curious as to how these would sound on my standard oboist, I have used the Earthwoods on my 6 string acoustics, but I am not going to bother with them.
I have been playing with these strings for a couple of weeks now, and I have to say that they are a very good set of strings for the money, especially if you are looking for a cheap set of strings to play with.

The Extra Soft strings are similar to Extra Light strings, but with less tension.

I know it's preference but what guage do you all recommend, I'm not sure which ones are good for me.
I think these are medium light to light, and I like the lighter strings.
