When I put these on my guitar, it seemed the 3rd (G) was off, so I compared it with the same gauge from another guitar, and it was a thicker string.
I've used a lot of different brands of string but never silked strings, so they feel good on my fingers, especially when I get back to the guitar after a long absence.
The Elixirs have a mellow tone and are great for bass music. I like the Elixers, but I think I have found my favorite strings.
I tried a lot of different strings and the ones I found were better than the rest.
The guitar says thank you, finally, for some great strings, and it's a bright tone for a couple weeks then transit slowlike to mellow.
