The guitar had a rough set of strings, so I used the new Martin light gauge 10-47 Phosphor Bronze strings, and it plays like a million bucks.
I like the bronze, it's a little smaller and has a lot of acoustic electric features. I play with the ACX 450 acoustic Amp combo all the time and these MA 530 sounds the best.
The Martin extra light strings have a great sound and will prevent the tension on the bridge and saddle from causing it.
If you want a darker tone with more scooped mids, go for an 80/20 bronze instead of a 92/8 phosphor bronze, as the bronze will have less resistance tocorrosion.
I was under the impression that it was a 3 pack, but I am happy with the overall product, just not the price I paid.
