There are vent holes on one side of the handpiece, but I haven't had the handpiece get too hot.
There are little holes on the one side that allow you to put your bits in there and have them ready for you, that is a nice feature that I am loving about this design.
I ordered a cheap eFile and some supplies this summer and began doing my own nails, but the fast speeds of the eFile made me realize I needed to step up.
The drill has more power than my other one, and it's even more versatile, because I can put it nearby, rather than having to search for a switch on a power cord.
The drill and base is stylish and has plenty of power, the bits can be removed with no tools and there is a nice readout of the current speed level.
