What buyers say about Groucho Marx and Groucho the Kid
The book explains in great detail how his career began, including his humble beginnings in Vaudeville acts, then onto Broadway, and finally as a star in Hollywood movies.
I am a huge fan of the Marx Brothers, and I was especially happy to read how Groucho respected director Irving Thalberg.
I believe he knows he made a huge impact, and that he lives on in his movies, because they never grow old.
The book is full of Grouchos' wit and humor and that alone is worth the read. However, it also provides a colorful picture of what his remarkable life was like on both sides of the curtain.
The humor in print is not very good, but Groucho still writes openly and honestly about himself, his brothers, family and career.
