Maybe when he was young and starting a family, he might have had time to enjoy it. What I do know is this was an immensely fun book to read about an incredibly interesting man who led an amazing life.
The lady at the bar at the Riviera was hysterical, as was the Kaiser Wilhelm story, and the train stop in Russia.
This is a wonderful biography of Harpo Marx, and I have heard so much about him that I can't believe how good he was.
I wanted more information on the shows, movies, and stage antics, but it doesn't seem that interesting when you're living it, and the whole Russia trip was a long detour I didn't expect.
