I am curious why 8 of the essays she wrote late in her life were not included in the expanded edition and why the other ones were not included in the new edition.
I usually don't like long introductions but I was grateful for this one, it gives a context in which to readBrooks' own thoughts about herself, her life, and the movies.
It was a well received present and was bought as a present.
There are some of them that are gossipy, some of them that are autobiographical, and some of them that are brilliant insights into filming and acting.
