The first thing I noticed is that this guy is posable, and that he has a double jointed elbow joint that is supposed to be part of his transformation.
I own every version of Starscream and this one is my favorite because it has an excellent vehicle mode and is such a great configuration for his original form.
It has an excellent vehicle mode that looks amazing and is very similar to his original form. The figure is also very well styled and has a great configuration for it's original form.
The ports are too big, so I use an extra port on his fore arm to fix the issue.
The box and box artwork was very attractive and I would recommend it to others.

Is there a metal pin in the chest that will keep the plate from falling off?
I have not been able to find the metal pin in the chest, but most responses I have read indicate that it was a mod done by the guy reporting it and not a running change/fix.
What is the height of it?
It is definitely scale to size with the siege Megatron and shockwave, and the voyager class optunus prime.
How is the chest piece hinges?
It's good, it didn't come off on me like others said.
Does the model have a pin for the chest plate?
It can come off easily during transformation, but after it's changed it's pretty good.
Does the pinned chestpiece fix or does the red chest piece pop off easily if it isn't pinned?
I guess that depends on what you buy. Mine isn't pinned nor do it pop off ever.
