I bought these for my son because I like the idea of the show and the life lessons it teaches.
I am waiting for a replacement for my Mama tigers nose and I have two stars because Amazon sent it right away and I didn't have to worry about it.
We found a similar one at a store, but it only included 5 figurines, and the one with 10 was even more special to our daughter, because she loves the blue panda that baby Margaret keeps.
I don't know if they took the criticisms into account and fixed them, but our set is nice, no defects, not super lightweight, as others said theirs were, no paint issues, correct arms on Katerina, prince Wed stands on his own.
The quality is good, after one month. We will see how the colors and shape keep up. This set has the whole tiger family and the friends as well.
